Wij zijn Cityden Group en op zoek naar een Front Office Supervisor. De functie – Front Office Supervisor Als Front Office Supervisor ben je een groot voorbeeld voor het receptie team en het visitekaartje van het hotel. Jij neemt de leiding en het initiatief wanneer het aankomt op alles wat met de receptie te maken heeft. Je traint nieuwe medewerkers, bent het aanspreekpunt voor de gasten en je collega’s en zorgt ervoor dat onze gasten hartelijk verwelkomt worden en weer met een big smile naar buiten lopen! Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

Het in- en uitchecken van gasten
Verdere administratieve taken die tot de receptie behoren
Trainen, aansturen en motiveren van het receptie team
Beantwoorden van vragen van gasten
Oplossen van klachten
Het altijd verbeteren van procedures binnen de afdeling
Draaien van Duty diensten

Wie ben jij? Jij bent iemand waarvan de gasten automatisch een glimlach op hun gezicht krijgen. Maar daarnaast zorg jij er ook voor dat je collega’s altijd happy zijn. Je staat sterk in je schoenen en draait je hand er niet voor om, om iets extra te doen voor gast en collega. Je hebt altijd alles op orde en ben altijd de gangmaker op werkgebied. Met jouw overtuigingskracht en duidelijke communicatie krijg jij iedereen mee. Naast bovenstaande hebben wij ook nog een paar andere kwaliteiten die wij zoeken:

Je hebt minstens 2 jaar ervaring in de Front Office binnen de hotellerie (dit is een must)
Je bent vloeiend in Engels (dit is een must). Nederlands is een pre
Je woont in Amsterdam of omgeving
Je bent gastvrij en representatief
Je hebt een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel
Je hebt ervaring in het leiden en coachen van een team

The position – Front Office Supervisor As Front Office Supervisor you are an example for the Front Office team and the face of the hotel. When it comes to the Front Office you are in charge and take initiatives. You train new employees, are the go-to person for any questions from our guests and colleagues and make sure our guests enter and leave with a big smile! Tasks and responsibilities:

Check-in and check-out
Administrative tasks that belong to the Front Office
Training, managing and motivating of the Front Office team
Answering questions of our guests
Handling complaints
Always looking at ways to improve procedures within the department
Covering duty shifts

Who are you? You are someone who will automatically put a smile of guests’ faces. And next to that, you also make sure that your colleagues are happy as well. You are sure of yourself and not afraid to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues. You have things in hand at all times and you are the life of the party – at work. With persuasiveness and clear communication you make sure you have everybody’s attention. Besides above we are also looking for a couple of other qualities:

You have at least 2 years of experience working at the Front Desk within hotels (this is a must)
You are fluent in English (this is a must). Dutch is an advantage
You live in Amsterdam or surroundings
You are hospitable and representative
You have a great sense of responsibility
You have experience in leading and coaching a team
